Bangalow-based Shuck has been supplying quality live oysters to fine dining restaurants across the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast since 2015. Like many hospitality-based businesses directly affected by Covid, we had to find other ways to keep our business ticking over.
We decided to expand our wholesale oyster offering to also include an online store offering premium live oysters to local residents of the Northern Rivers. Our first delivery took place at Easter 2020, and thanks to brilliant community support, we haven't looked back since.
Place your online order by 9am Friday for Friday delivery in Byron shire or 9am Saturday for Saturday delivery in Ballina shire, or collect your order from one of our convenient collection points in Alstonville, Newrybar, Lennox Head, Byron Bay or Brunswick Heads. (Our "fuglies" - our weekly seconds - are available by collection only in Ballina each Saturday.
Our premium oysters are packed in re-useable/recyclable, environmentally-friendly chiller boxes, with frozen gel ice packs. This gives you the confidence of knowing that your oysters will still be in peak condition when you arrive home or pick them up from your nominated collection point.
